Performance Outdoors offers high-end archery hunts and a limited number of Firearm hunts on over 20,000 privately owned and managed acres. Our farms our Prime Deer Habitat in what is known to be the best Whitetail Big Buck hunting area in the World… West-central Illinois and Southern Iowa. Our land is a mixture of timber, CRP and agriculture with 100’s of acres planted into food plots dedicated to our deer. Performance Outdoors managed farms have been under Quality Deer Management from the start, 1997.

Most properties have a 125 P&Y minimum harvest standard for archery and we ask our limited number of gun hunters to set their minimums at 140 inches. We have hundreds of portable high-end tree stands strategically placed for all wind directions. Because of this we are able to keep our sets fresh and keep the pressure off our deer. Performance Outdoors guides are seasoned and knowledgeable. They are accomplished hunters and know their specific hunting areas very well. Our success is extremely high for bow hunting. We run a 95% opportunity rate on rut hunts, and depending upon the year, a 35 to 45% harvest success rate on archery P&Y bucks. We have a lot of hunters who set their minimum goals on 150”-170” class bucks. Performance Outdoors gives returning clients the first right of refusal to hunt the same camp the same week year after year. This allows existing clients to gain knowledge of the land, which dramatically increases the success, the confidence and the quality of his or her experience.

Performance Outdoors prime spots fill up very quickly. I recommend booking your spot as soon as you have made a decision to hunt with us. Our Illinois hunters have close to a 100% success for getting a tag, where it usually takes two years to get a tag in Iowa. Many of our hunters will hunt Illinois one year and Iowa the next. We also offer two week combo hunts in Illinois and Iowa for clients who want to hunts both states in the same year. We prize our land, deer and our clients with the utmost respect and quality.
